DoD Directive 8570.1
We are fully aware of the DoD Directive 8570.1-M requirements and offer courses to comply with the Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program sections C3.2 and C4.2. This directive requires that every part-time or full-time military member or defense contractor that has access to a priviledged DoD system to be trained by certified personnel to enhance Information Assurance skills.
- Baseline Certification Training
Personnel performing IA functions may choose any of the 8570 baseline certification requirements. We offer the following courses for this purpose:
IAT Level I:
A+
Network+
SSCP
IAT Level II
Security+
CCNA Security
IAT Level III
CISSP- Continous Education Training
Personnel need to take more training in order to sustain IA skills. The requirement is normally 20 to 40 hours annually or 120 hours over 3 years. We can help you to stay in compliant with the requirements.
- Operating Systems Certification Training
In addition to baseline certification training, Directive 8570 requires personnel to be further trained on the operating systems related to their work environment. We offer the following operating system courses:
Microsoft Server 2003, 2008 and 2012
Red Hat Linux and Ubuntu Linux
